I think you are taking the word "owned" a little bit too serious lol. It's just a way of saying that you have one.

well when I state my opinion everybody has a fit, so am I supposed to shut up and not saying anything and say sure pets are things we own because were so better then them, what am I supposed to do? cause apparently I cant state my own opinion on here without getting blasted down

You OWN your pet. You are the pet's MASTER and BOSS. This doesn't mean you are disrespectful towards your animal. If you're not the BOSS of your pet, you should not have an animal.

no. When you state your opinion, and then we state our conflicting opinion, YOU act holier than thou and degrade our members with sarcasm. That is the situation we find ourselves in, and I'm seriously suggesting you try to not hold your positions with such JUDGEMENT. If we disagree? We can still be friendly about it and not look down on each other over it.

a pet is not an ITEM its an ANIMAL something you need to take RESPONSIBILTY for to take care of like a sensible owner should!
