well the thing that hurt me the most is that I was always a jerk to him and well wasnt nice to him, yelled at him and now that he gone its to late to take it back, I cried over the box with his ashed in it for hours apoligizing over and over again, sometimes all night, regretting everything I did and wishing I could take it back but knowing I cant and as I type this trying to hold back tears it hurts but whats been done is done and I can never take back what I had done

Well it wasn't your fault of what happened, so don't beat yourself up on it.

I dont blame myself for how he died, it was how I treated him when he was alive, the saying goes like this You dont know what you have till its gone

I dont think I could, tbh whenever I see a dog that even looks like my old dog I lose it, even in publicm I know thats wimpy but thats the truth
