Never heard of Blue microphones until your posting. They appear to make pretty decent microphones, I'm looking forward to the release of the more affordable Nessie model.

I was under the impression that the Yeti Pro only comes with a black mic body. Is this mic you're talking about the one in your avatar? The Regular Yeti is the one that comes in sliver or platinum finish.

The one in my picture is infact the regular yeti. However the review is still on the pro yeti. I have both.

Do you consider the upgrade from Yeti to the Yeti Pro to be worthwhile? From my reading it didn't seem like the few differences would even come through in a YouTube video.

To be honest man, the upgrade isn't really worth it. The only thing you're paying for is a better looking (blue) mic. The sound quality is almost identical.
