I just started vlogging on my channel and it's loads of fun. Along with that it seems my viewers are loving them! Most of my videos are guides for gaming, but I just started covering in-game events in a vlog style, much more seriously than ever before. I HAVE done some vlogs in the past, but nothing as serious as I am doing now on my channel.
I've been covering an event known as the "World First Race" for World of Warcraft. Multiple groups of people get together to compete to take on challenging endeavors in game FIRST. If you're the first group of people to do something in a game that has MILLIONS of players, you should be quite proud...Well, it's not as awesome as winning a marathon or climbing Everest, but it's still an accomplishment.
I used that event to launch my vlogging/newscasting videos on my channel. It's the perfect event. My viewers are interested and people are heavily searching for information about the race.
I strongly believe this will help me bring in subscribers who are there for my thoughts, opinions and video style rather than being there for one specific type of gaming guide & nothing else
The best part about vlogging is that I can show a bit more personality than in my guides, be goofy, funny, and really talk about whatever I want (to an extent).

I wanted to post this to share what it's like to just start vlogging, so I myself can look back on it one day, and maybe even convince others to start doing the same! It's so much fun, try it!!
