I think that's why it worked for me somewhat, since my youtube channel is basically an animation portfolio of my work,Only mention what is relevant during a job interview. Unless you're applying for a job in the entertainment/music industry, or unless your channel is the same subject matter as the job/company, don't mention it. It only puts you at risk to be judged by your content.

I think if you apply for a marketing job, it can be a plus if your channel has good numbers on there! I might after I hide all of my ridiculous vlogs lol!
