Hello!
I am 13 years old and I like to play games on my computer that gave me a epic idea to start a YouTube gaming channel as I know how to use Sony Vegas pro 13, Gimp 2, audacity and Bandicam to excel my channel to stand out within the other channels however I am not a professional and I just want to experiment and see where this goes in the future. I know all ready my voice is the most crucial thing I need to improve however I can change the voice unless a voice changer which I don't feel like changing as there is really no point... I would you to critique; videos, channel branding, intros, outros and banners. I do not mind what videos you do and the latest videos I do not have intro so please do not check those...

Hi Mike,

I have looked at your channel and i think you have made a good start. I would like to make some very general comments, perhaps they will be helpful, perhaps not.

Creating videos is a complex creative process, which you've started thinking about at a very early age. When you are making a video you are expressing yourself, usually regarding a certain subject. The next step is thinking about what aspects of the subject you'd want to show and what style of video would best suit the subject-matter.

For instance when making a channel intro i'd think about making a video with a lot of energy. Basically what i would want to communicate is the essence of my channel in as short a time as possible. Of course you always have to remain true to your personal style. It's also important to have all parts of the video convey the same clear message strengthening each other if possible. Think about: music, commentary, color tone, composition of the shots, length of the video, type of fragments and how to arrange them, etc.

Of course knowing what is wrong is a lot easier than making a video in which all parts help convey and strengthen the same message. Personally i am just beginning to learn this myself. I think you are already thinking about this and i know thinking about something and executing it perfectly are not the same thing.

P.S. Don't change your voice. It is uniquely your own and it will develop as you grow. Besides there seems nothing wrong with it to me.

Thank you very much for the critique and I hope to post many more videos in the future but taking a break to play and experiment with other games ;)

Looks good. You sound comfortable talking. I find many sound too forced and awkward. I wish I started making videos when I was 13! I would try to start using a cam as I think that greatly improves your channel. I'm sure down the road you can ad that. So many gaming channels I see with no commentary and they don't do nearly as well as ones with. Good start I say!
