Work, real life and your channel

I have also thought a lot about this. I think as long as your employer understands that you have a life outside of your work that is separate and important to you, you should be fine. Again though, I wouldn't go bashing the job or saying anything that could be taken as negative towards the company. Basically, just use common sense. Keep up the good work! I enjoy the videos!

I am still a student, but I can imagine that that's quite an uncomfortable situation.
My advice would be: Avoid talking about your work. As long as nothing very special happens that you want to talk about very badly I would just ignore that topic. There are so many things you could talk about and if you avoid this topic you won't have to be afraid of any consequences.

yeah thats true, its just a topic that keeps coming up in my mind but after seeing other peoples options i think i will avoid it for now. we'll see how things go, maybe one day my channel will be my job - then its a problem solved

I'm self-employed, so my boss doesn't care!

I also manage 3 channels - one of them directly related to my business. That's the one my clients will be more likely to stumble across (it bears my business name). My personal channels don't use my real name in any capacity so it's unlikely they'll see my videos (and it shouldn't matter too much if they do)
