Snowballs a great one for starting out, I'm not sure about your current one so I can't give input on it.

This one is definitely better. The price is also steeper, but what you pay for is what you get!

My dislike for Blue mics is well known. However, the Yeti Pro is a good mic, unlike its' bretheren. I'm not a fan of the price. I feel you could get better for that price point, but there is value in the versatility of both USB and XLR in the same mic and I don't know how valuable that is to you personally. Hope all goes well with it.

I use the 2035. I like it

Turning on the 10DB pad helps a lot with making consistent audio levels!~
