I think I just saw someone vlogging... I'm at work, and I saw someone in the lobby holding up a camera or phone, and talking to it.

This is such a surreal experience for me because I've never met, or seen anyone who does youtube. Seeing someone do what I do (well, at least used to. It's been almost a year since I've
vlogged in public like that) is so weird.

Maybe the person was just Facetiming, I don't know. I couldn't really tell, but it looked like vlogging haha.

Have you ever seen someone vlog in public? Or seen/met a youtuber?

I've never actually seen or met anyone else who's done youtube strangely enough.

No matter where I've been I've seemed to be the only person who does youtube, for example I went to a gaming convention and I was the only one who was recording/vlogging for YouTube, everyone else seemed to just be working for websites, I was amazed that I couldn't find anyone else who did youtube!

I wish I could though, it would make collaborating and networking so much easier!

I've never met anyone IRL who was vlogging... I want to now, just to see what the vlogger looks like in their natural habitat.

Some of my friends do Youtube... When I set up my tripod at the dog park and people ask what the hell I'm doing, I just say I'm either taking videos or pics of my dogs. If I'm doing a video, I tell them the words to search for later if I upload it. I never catch people in the act of doing specific youtube stuff. I have plenty of people who take pics of their dogs that seem even more serious than me (I'm not way too serious), but they are afraid to say why they are taking pictures. They seem offended when I ask even though I am doing almost the same thing. People need to be comfortable with what they do. If you aren't proud of yourself, why do it? My girlfriend thought I was a nerd for multiple things, but I continue to impress her. I embrace s**t, most people hide it. Just do what you enjoy, if people don't like you for it, they shouldn't be your friends in the first place. I'm part Asian, so I love to use cameras... get over it, lol

At Vidcon. Saw A LOT of people vlogging. even talked to a few of them, on and off camera. It's pretty cool and surreal at the same time.

I have never seen anyone vlogging around here but I typed in the area where I live the other week and seen a few channels that I didnt know existed and these people live within a mile or two of where I am which is nice to see :D

Being a media student it's not as rare, plus I have influenced some of my friends to become YouTubers. I would have totally pulled out my phone started vlogging and bumped into him and 'accidently' done a co-op

I often see groups of 2-3 people filming each other out and about and it's pretty obv that the video is going to end up on YouTube or someone pointing a camera and themselves but not talking (so probably just taking a selfie lol)

But I don't think I've ever seen anyone by themselves doing the VLog thing, talking to the camera etc. They have bigger balls than me for sure. I'd feel pretty self-conscious about doing it in public I think ^^
