Why would a video not be eligible for monetization?

Posting Mad!
I was looking at my video manager, and I noticed that one of my more recent vlogs said it was not eligible for monetization. I have no idea why especially since when I originally uploaded it I had it monetized, and it has made money. Does anyone have any idea why this might be?

I think some topics can't be monetized. I remember reading a thread with a similar qn either here or on the google support forums. I think it's Arlington National Cemetery you may not be able to monetize vids with topics like that where people lost their lives or war memorials. Check on the google support forum pretty sure there was a lenghty discussion there about it.

I'll be sure to check that out. Thank you for the help!

Read the terms of monetization.

They list reasons why videos may be tagged as non monetised for infringing the terms.

I had one refused recently, and it appears to have been because I mentioned an item in the video was for sale, and the YT robot thought I had an undisclosed commercial agreement with the seller.

You can appeal the non monetization decision, which I did, and it was quickly monetised.

It also pays to include a suitable disclaimer in the video description, if you feel there may be a possible conflict with the terms (which I did).
