Used to be worried, now it's part of youtubing :) so don't worry, keep going they will keep coming ;)

It's horrible people subscribing and then unsub, why do they do that? And also, people that subb to my channel and then not watch the videos, don't leave likes or comments, when I'm subbed to some one I'm an active sub, I leave likes and comments and try to watch every video :p
 
I finally made it to 51 which made me quite happy when I reach 100 though that will be bliss. Although I can't see myself getting 1000 at least not for a long time.

Oh sure, the milestones have in them, their own sweet magic... and thrill that lingers for sometime :)
I started two FB group for our Church community, and in less than one year, we have almost 6500 + members in one and in another we have 2500 odd members, it was a great thrill to touch 1000 and then 5000 a month or two ago....

Having said that, I would like to reiterate one thing that someone said in this forum, that these numbers do have a charm of their own, but they are pale when compared to a thriving and interactive community that you can build. Better to have 100 real loyal fans, who see your vision, and who like your way, than having 5000 Mute and Dumb spectators.... infact the more the number of people, the more frustrating is the Silence.... it's only after 5000 members that the group really picked up in posts, now we have 100s of post per day....

I would suggest to Attract and Retain those loyal fans who really enjoy what you are doing, as much as you do... and somehow inspire them to comment and make it alive.... trust me, 1000, 10000's excitement will fade, but a good compliment or a generous comment will keep you motivated for weeks if not for months :) all the best... sorry for the long post.
 
Thank you for the support, I just sometimes think that my dream of becoming a gamer at Machinima won't happen, I've been on this for 7 months and didn't even get to 100 subs :\
