Why I think I deserve more subs

I think i deserve more subs than what I have right now is I know my videos aren't exactly in the best quality, but I have a lot of great stuff to bring to you and when I get some money I am going to get what I need for my videos to be in high quality for you guys enjoyment. But for right now I am stuck with a low quality cap card that is not really getting the job done and is effecting me in negative way. But I will be getting a new cap card in about a week and when i do i will bring you guys more videos of me and my friends just doing some cool s**t on mw2 and/or mw3, and I know not a lot of people like stuff like that but if you guys have subscribers then they will see that you subbed me and will think "Maybe this person has some cool s**t I should sub". Bur not just for me but for you guys as well if you sub me I will sub you back and tell all of my subscriber and friends to subscribe to you. SO PLEASE SUB ME<3

You're probably right, you really are. But when people say things like this, the normal reaction from others, is to feel they are being needy. I mean, I think I should be bigger than Ray William Johnson, I think I'm leaps and bounds more talented than the most subscribed channels out there. I mean, that's why we're vloggers, we all think that lol. But life is weird, people are strange, some things are just chance, some things take time. But it usually doesn't look good to others when someone tries to convince people of their own greatness. I know how you feel, and I wish I could help.

well we all gotta start some where most of us don't get lucky enough to have one really good video that goes viral. we gotta scratch and claw to get higher up! but as long as you have fun doing what you do,and keep putting out content ..slowly but surely you will build more subscribers.

As people have said before me. it takes time. and effort. if you really want this to work all you can do is just work at it. i was stuck on about 89 subs 2 days ago but now that ive started those Battlefield 3 live comm video's people are actually subbing. Just got to keep at it.

I think there's also something to be said for finding what you're best and and figuring out what your audience wants to see, always pay attention to feedback, and always strive to improve. I see so many vloggers that seem to just kind of put out videos, they don't seem to think about it, get inspired about it, try hard to be the best they can at it, no they just seem to turn on the camera and go "so today I did this and this and that and that" You know I mean, promotion is great, when you have the product. But you've got to figure out what product you have that is the best FIRST.

Think of it like this. You're fishing in a lake with nets, the lake is FULL of fish. Here's what promotion does, promotion gases up your boat and sends it all over the lake, so you can reach as many fish as possible. But having the product right, is what decides how loosely knit your net is. If your product isn't there, you can speed all over that lake and cast that net in there over and over and over, and each time most fish will slip through the net and a few will get caught. But if your product is there, and THEN you promote, everytime you toss that net in you get big draws of fish.

Now it's almost suicide, to promote a bad video imo. Why? These are special fish dude, if you don't catch them the first time, you're very likely they will never wind up in your net again....

Like it's been said, unless you have that one video that gets you instant YouTube fame, it takes time and persistence. Anyone will tell you if you just make videos to get popular instead of doing it because you actually enjoy it, you probably won't get to that point that you are looking to get to. As far as the quality, you've been doing this for a week it seems and when you look at the quality of some of the biggest YouTubers (like smosh, Shane Dawson, etc.) when they first were starting out, you'll see that you will just get better at time. You seem to be doing well so far. So, the best advice I could give you would be to keep making videos :)

And I'm not saying you have to start out making perfect amazing videos, I'm just saying you need to be trying to make them as good as possible, not just doing it to do it, and then wondering why promotion techniques aren't working. You've got to show some effort.

i dont think anyone can make perfect videos when they first start, i look back at some of mine and almost cring. Gaming commentary is something that gets better over time. Also in my opinion, less is more. i see so many people add tons of effects in there video and awful dubstep music that it almost seems cheap.

We all start off as the little fishy of youtube :)
We just have to work our way up to the top,it will take a while, but all the wait is worth it.
Where do you think Smosh and BlueXephos started?
