Why has youtube changed in 2013 ?

White is quite painful for me that's why I never go here often before.:)) Too much white.:D But I got accustomed to it. I'm used on dark wall papers then BAM! when I enter a website with white background, it's like heaven is coming to get me....or is it just me?
 
I think they are doing this to keep users from being bored of the same layout. But also possibly just because people at Google have to come up with new things on YouTube in order to keep advancing and always staying a step ahead of themselves.
I don't really agree with all the changes, and personally I was fine before Cosmic Panda (back in 2008-2009 YouTube), and certainly dislike the One Channel Layout, especially when it shrinks the background to a mere banner.. :(
 
They usually change once very year-ish, but I think most of it recently is due to YouTube teaming up with Google. I like the new channel layout, but as far as I'm concerned every other change Google made to YouTube has kinda sucked.
 
Ahm. Yeah. The recent changes have been because of Google. And the changes before that, and the changes before that, and the changes before that, and the changes before... Google acquired YouTube in 2006.
