Why doesn't Google have direct customer service?

Google not having customer service is really bad, and can be very annoying when answers and solutions are unavailable. The help forums are not always helpful because even the top rated helpers can be very useless. The helpers are just volunteers and are not associated with Google by any means. Sometimes you can be left in the dark with no answers for your problem.

So last week I lost access to my very old Yahoo email account that I made many years ago when I was a senior in high school. I called their customer support and waited 50 minutes which is reasonable for a large company with many users. The representative was easy to talk to and she resolved my issue within 15 minutes.

Why doesn't Google have customer service like this? If Yahoo can do it then so can Google with more support representatives.

Because Google are actually run by a team of highly skilled monkey engineers, who while they have their vast knowledge of technological engineering and web maintenance, they still do not actually speak the English language, and thus haven't yet incorporated any direct forms of customer service. I think their head engineer is an ape called Ceaser?

Haha, I think I know where do you quote that "highly skilled monkey engineers" .. I've seen that quote before in my life..............

You don't pay YouTube money so they don't see you as a customer. There is direct partner support if you have more than 15,000 hours of watch time within the last 90 days.

A customer is someone buys goods or services from a shop or business, you're not buying anything on YouTube besides movies, and even then if I'm not mistaken other companies are responsible for them, unless you're on Google Fibre or have Drive plans don't expect this from a company who provides tons of stuff for free including YouTube, Drive, G-Mail, Chrome Web Browser, Translator, CAPTCHA and many, many more.

Well technically it's not really "customer service". Because your not a customer. Which is why you have to rely on forums to get solutions. It can be annoying sometimes, but that's what you get for free service. The only time I've seen Google/YouTube have a conversation with someone is because of copyright claims. Google just operates differently.

Some of their services do actually have phone support, believe it or not. I know Adwords has support, and they're actually American. But if they had phone support for every service, it just wouldn't be feasible. I mean, literally billions of people use Google. There's no way they could accommodate people calling in because "YouTube is being slow."
