Why does my Youtube video look so bad when i upload it?

is it looking like that all the time or was this photo taken as soon as you uploaded it cause i have noticed if you upload your video and watch it straight away the quality will look awful

Yes, but also after a hour, Youtube is saying it's 1080p 60fps but it doenst look like it.

So there are two possibilties why this happens :
1. Youtube is still processing your video, if it has a big data size and the servers are busy this can take up to a hour
2. There was a problem with the encoding. Try uploading in the best possible encoding. Just google "best encoding setting for youtube" and click on the first link (support.google).

Also you might solve both problems by compressing your video with a software like freemake video converter to a smaller size. For a gaming video you can compress it to 100-200 mb per 10 min.
If you still have these problems try contacting the youtube support.
 
What render settings do you use? and what program?
My render settings are:

Mainconcept AVC/AAC (mp4)

HD 1080

Allow source to adjust frame size: NO

Profile: High

Frames: 60

Field order: None

Pixel aspect: 1

Number of reference frames: 2

Two pass: YES and NO (Tryed both)

Variable bit rate: Max 50k Average 40k (I tryed alot of different ones)

Numver of slices: 4

Encode: Render using gpu only

Enable progressive download: YES

Project: Best and Use project settings

I lso followd a tutorial with the YT codec.
 
try using h.264 as the codec. I used to upload mp4 way back then and had the same issue. It could be that or something else. what software do you use?
