Why do YouTuber's get away with lying to their fans?

Why do 'respected' YouTubers make videos like this: /watch?v=XWiZi4U75Ug

The title is a complete lie because he actually unlocked the phone using Touch ID

What I don't understand is the overall positive feedback, the like to dislike ratio and how he can do this without his reputation being affected at all. I am a content creator and have always been incredibly open and honest with my viewers but is there even a point?

Tons of YouTubers are doing this and no one seems to give a s**t despite it being an incredibly disgusting thing to do and against the YouTube TOS.

What are your thoughts?

So report it. When people do discover your earnest and quality video though, they'll appreciate it more with that as a comparison

A lot of people enjoy watching the youtuber so most likely won't give him a bad time

Not sure what you're complaining about, OP. I've seen much worse. I'm guessing he's one of your competitors?

Why does Adam Saleh lie about being kicked off a plane for racism when he tried to act like a crazed bomber pumping his fist in the air like Hitler?
Why's clickbait a thing?
Why are there a million staged pranks being attempted at getting shown off as real?

You know how many lies and just fake content there is on YT. Just be better, do better and conquer them.

Lies only get people so far, they can earn in a month more than you ever will but they'll be off the platform like losers before you know it as well.
