Why do you subscribe to people?

Feel bad for them?
Or maybe a combination?
Have you ever subscribed to someone because of any of these reasons?

Mostly because I like the content, though I admit sometimes I'll subscribe because I feel bad for someone. Then there are times when I subscribe to help someone reach their goal in the Milestone area. I really don't care about my subscription feed or what's on it. I'm never really logged into my account anyway. *shrugs*
