Why do some youtuber's videos get so many views?

Many like me only get 4-6 views per video, while others get several hundrets as this youtuber here:

He's a small youtuber yet,. but all his videos get like 300-1000 views. Strange!!!
 
That shouldn't be a surprise seeing someone getting more views than you. They might be making videos about trendy topics that ppl search for alot. Maybe they've put effort in researching keywords and getting their SEO on point, maybe they've been promoting their own video on their twitter/facebook/instagram and what not, maybe they've been engaging and commenting alot on other ppls videos that attracted alot of ppl, maybe all of these techniques together. If you're not doing all of this then don't be surprised if someone is getting more views.
 
So many aspects come into play with youtube. 99% of the time chances are their is someone doing something your not. Never settle and always try to learn new things to improve your channel.

Your YouTube link in your signature doesn't work. Go to your channel and copy the long random letters in the url.

If I can get a look at your channel maybe I can help constructively critique your channel and see if it's video quality/channel appearance that affects your progress.

An interesting video that's made available to people who want to see it will get views. My second video, while I was at about something like 4 subs wound up getting 2000 views in a few weeks because I provided a video that people wanted to see and couldn't see elsewhere and also announced it in places where people who were there would go over to my video. I was shocked at the results but it's proof that it's not "luck" or "getting shout out" that is the only way.

He also might not have people who subbed but still go back. Infinite 1 is easy to remember and very often someone may like a vid then go from the liked vid list to the channel or just search.
 
So many reasons. The other YouTuber may have been around a lot longer, and have had a small subscriber base, but they could have very loyal viewers. There could be better titles and descriptions, or better thumbnails. They could promote better than you.

It's very hard to nail down why someone succeeds at anything while someone else struggles. It's best not to compare, unless it's to see how you can improve your own content.
