Why do people hate on small channels?

ok so i asked a few people to check out my videos and all i get is hate, i dont understand why people dont give small channels a chance :/

I think its more the way you ask for it. If you are straight up saying: "HEY DUDE! LIKE YOUR VID! CHECK OUT MY CHANNEL?" then they may think you are just like a spammer they see the same of everyday. Instead of that ask them to have a look at your channel and how you could improve it. Its a friendly way of having a look and if they like it, they'll sub

Also, all channels get hate. Have had plenty of people being like "This is Sh*t" and stuff so don't worry about it. If it bothers you, block them or just block them.... from your MIND!!! :-D

It has nothing to do with your channel size. Everyone gets hate, even the top YouTubers.

It's because you spammed them trying to get people to check out your channel. Even if you didn't mean for it to sound spammy, it will come off as spammy.

I don't think it's so much the size but because promoting can annoy people sometimes depending on how it's done

I think that all y'all who are talkin' about size doesn't matter are wrong (to an extent). I agree for the most part, but being a small channel is also a factor that trolls and just regular mean people look for when they are going to call your channel s**t. "If less people are subscribed to you, then you MUST have bad content!" It's just more of a reason for people to hate on you because in all honesty, people who view a person with 3 million subs and 30 subs are going to view the channels MUCH differently. And thus is my argument.

Well I don't know how you asked them to check out your videos, if you spammed them saying 'HEY GUYS NEW VIDEO OUT NOW !!!! ' then I can see why but if you just asked nicely then I see no reason for them to ate unless they find you obnoxious and offensive in some way (which you aren't man )
