Why do my videos look zoomed in?

I take videos on my Iphone. I've synced other videos before to my computer and they look normal when viewing them on my it. The ones that I upload to YouTube, however, come out looking like it's zoomed in to close. Any ideas as to what might be causing this?
 
There is a chance that YouTube is applying "stabilization" to your videos, and that would zoom them in.
 
Try turning off the option to edit videos after uploading them. In your settings
 
How can I prevent that from happening? I've tried looking for step-by-step directions on the best way to upload videos and I'm not having much luck.

I believe you can take it off your videos. If you go to your video manager, then click edit under one of your videos, then go to Enhancements. Then I believe you just click Revert To Original. As for keeping it from happening in the future you might want to take a look at your "Defaults" in channel settings.
