Why did you start Youtube?

Simple question. Why did you start Youtube?
I personally started youtube because I was bored xD. Also because I wanted to be famous, get rich, have women throwing themselves at me. You know, the usual thing you think about when you start your first ever channel! But that mindset was a channel ago, and I feel pretty good about the stuff I have learnt during my time on Youtube!
Like editing videos! And being awesome!
Anyway, why did you start Youtube?

I learnt that coloured text is distracting sometimes.

I started my channel because I've always had a passion for entertaining people. Plus for a long time I've been told I have a good voice, so I always wanted to a pursue a career where I could utilize that. I've never been in it for subscribers or fame or money, and in fact my only goal is to have someone say that I brightened their day or made them smile. That's why I do it

Loljk, I didn't even know you could make money off of YouTube back in 2010. I started because making videos was just sooooo fun. Back then, I didn't care about views, or subs, or if people enjoyed my vids.
I started making gaming videos a few years later when I randomly decided to watch pewdiepie.....and well, its been a freaking crazy ride

I started watching a few people back in the COD Black Ops era and thought it would've been cool to do that. Then I started doing random vlogs for friends and they thought it was funny. So eventually like a month ago I decided I would give it a shot after really just pushing it off. My goal has always been to help people with my own experiences.
