Why Buying YouTube Views/Likes/Comments/Subs Is Useless

I've Got It
Hello World. I know I'm still relatively new here, but I can really vouch for the topic title. Keep in mind that I haven't bought this stuff (and never will) but if you even think about buying this stuff, allow me to indulge you on why you should think again.

1. The views, likes, comments, and subs are artificial. They don't get put in front of REAL people but rather some sort of sneaky tactic the services use to crank up your view count. The companies have thousands of Tube accounts to try and fool the sucker (hint: you) into making it real and give you likes, comments, and subs that you didn't really earn. If you look at these accounts that commented and subbed to you, you can see that most, if not all, of them don't have any channel art of their own, let alone any videos of their own. And if you're just plain buying views, it REALLY sucks because you would think that 100,000 views would get you several comments, likes, and subs, right?

2. After the 3 day/5 day/7 day period (or however long you bought it for), you will notice a HUGE dropoff. You'll be right back to where you were before you bought the service. And if you haven't really earned any likes, comments, or subs (I'm talking REAL ones), upload videos on your normal schedule for a month after you've bought the service and see where you're at. If you're on the increase, good for you. If you're about the same or even on the decrease, shame on you.

3. It's frowned upon by Google and the Tube. For your Adsense account's sake, turn off the ads (the companies recommend this). If you had actually earned those thousands of views, there would be no need to turn off the ads. Google and the Tube will get suspicious when they see one video having thousands of views with your other videos having less than 50 views. If you had earned everything, all of your vids would have those thousands of views. Just plain logic.

4. Now let's assume for a moment that these WERE real views, likes, comments, and subs. You would think you could spend $200 on 1,000,000 views and go viral, right? If that were the case, everyone would be doing it and we'd have viral videos everyday. And everyone would spend a measly $200 to go viral, get fame and fortune, and every normal living and breathing human being on Planet Earth would be YouTube famous. Na, it just doesn't work that way.

So I do hope that if your channel is very low on the views, likes, comments, and subs, you don't get desperate and spend money on artificially created views, likes, comments, and subs. Keep at it, put some good ol' fashioned elbow grease on it, promote your channel like hell and be patient. Someone will share one of your videos, which in turn will be shared by 10 more people, which in turn will be shared by 100 more people, and so on. Success doesn't come overnight, nor does it come by spending two Benjamins. Imagine if a 9 year old told her parents this:

Kid: Mommy, do you have $200?

Mom: For what?

Kid: I'm gonna create a YouTube video of me hula hooping in sync to the Macarena and have all of YouTube see it, and there's this company that will do all the work for me on getting it seen! I can get famous and never have to get a job when I grow up!

(Mom and Dad look at their daughter crazy before politely (or not so politely) denying, crushing her dreams in an instant)

It's also against their TOS to buy them like this from 3rd Party websites and you risk having your channel shutdown.

I remember seeing a guy with 300 subs, every video EXACTLY 29,500 views, no likes, comments etc. Really doesn't look correct.

Good post sir.
