Why buy a DSLR over a small compact camera?

He does indeed need to calm down. If he thinks DSLRs are the best cameras in the world, then he is simply wrong. You say I think I know a bit about this because I have come accross a few scripts and cameras. No, I know quite a bit about this because film has been a huge interest of mine for many years, I've worked on quite a few short films, I keep up to date with industry news, as well as studying it at University.

I think she just doesn't know what she is talking about and tried to sound interesting but then because she started to sound like an amateur she started to get defensive and counter attacked with nonsense.
Leave it there is no point to continue. I don't mind helping people or having a constructive debate but this one is clearly a lost of time!!!

Excuse me, noone "attacked"! You can know all you want about some quality of a camera, AND its not a debate to you because you wanna get your point accross like everyone else let's you do in these forums, if you can't take the heat then stay out the kitchen. What? Lmao a baby can pick up a camera and make a "short" film, SO what does it make you feel like what you do is TOP NOTCH, by saying you did this and studied that?? You make no sense, your story is repetitive and this isn't getting anywhere... GO work on your channel, like everyone else and get it together!

There's picking up the camera, then there's making the film any good. What I am saying, is that since I am studying the exact thing I am talking about here, my point might be quite good..Especially since you've proven to us that you have no clue what you are talking about.
