Why big youtubers do not want to collaborate with small ones?

I never see big youtubers collaborating with smaller yters. Why? It makes no sense for bigger ones because smaller ones can not give them views? or not worth their time?

Yes it's harsh but this person(big youtuber) probably worked his or her a** off to gain the amount of support that they have right now. It's only natural that they wouldn't share the fruits of their labor if there's nothing in it for them.

Unless they see that you have huge potential or know you personally or have come to like you, It's unlikely they'll help a significantly smaller YouTuber.

It's just them being fair to themselves, but there are bound to be exceptions in any scenario, so who knows. :)

The small YouTubers that collaborated with big YouTubers aren't that small anymore lol

It depends on how well the person knows the channel and if the channel is a good friend or makes fun videos himself/herself.
But smaller channels are harder to discover so the popular channel may not even know about the channel.

It's kind of like the real world. Most large celebrities aren't going to help you make some random movie/song if you're not able to compensate them appropriately. With YT, if you don't have the ability to give them more reach, it's not likely worth it to them.

Define big. Define small. It's all relative. Everyone has a channel which is smaller than them unless they have 0 subs.

So if a channel has 150 subs, why don't they collaborate with a channel with 1 sub? (They're small compared to a channel with 150) Probably for the exact same reason a channel with 150,000 subs doesn't want to collaborate with a channel with 1,000 subs.

Have you made any videos yet OP?
