Why are you recording?

So, this is a thread to find your reason to make videos. Everyone has a unique reason so I will tell mine. When I was younger, I got bullied. I can't say that I am not bullied these days too, but it is on a smaller scale(making fun of me.etc). And because of the bullying, I felt into depression...the suicide type. I wanted to end my life and I started thinking that everyone will be more happy if I was not born. Anyway...I actually found happiness in friends and fun times with them. Then I said to myself "I was a lucky case. Maybe I can help depressed people to feel happy and to help them fight against bullies." And then I opened a YouTube channel. What about you guys? What is your motivation?
 
I make videos bcoz
1. I enjoy doing it
2. Comedy is my passion
3. To improve and show off my editing skills
4. to make my Scripts come alive
5. To make people LOL
 
I'm doing this because I wanted to have a creative outlet and to use my talent/skills to good effect as opposed to just sitting around and doing nothing. I was always told by my acting teachers that I had a lot of potential, so I didn't want to let it go to waste.
 
My dream ever since I was young, is to become a famous actor one day. I'm glad YouTube has been created, because this gives me that opportunity. I currently have a very miniscule fanbase, regardless I'm still persisting to chase this dream, regardless of the times when people have told me 'You wont make it' or 'You will never make it.' If I do make it some time in the future, I will help other actors/youtubers who are chasing this dream, because it is god damn difficult.
I'm similar to you too, I was bullied as a kid, always excluded, last one to be chosen. Regardless of my past, it's made me a stronger person, and I will keep chasing this dream, and will be there for those who support me through this journey.
 
I have Depression and Social Anxiety, partly due to my early years of being bullied, partly to do with loss and partly to do with having a tumor in my brain which keeps messing up my life. So I started my channel to try and help me through it all and give me an outlet, like having someone to talk to who isn't a friend or a family member.
 
I make videos because:
-I find it relaxing
-I play the video games anyway, might as well record
-It gives me the opportunity to share some of my gameplay with friends who do not play or cannot play with me
-I learn new things every day about editing etc...
