Why are people allowed to make gaming videos?

Can you come and sit by me and talk through everything lol...
I didn't get asked any additional info...
A lot of my videos are now in "monitoring for possible review"
I guess the easiest way to avoid these issues is to make completely new and original content ;)
The Youtube system is very random at monetization requests, for me every time i upload a video the first thing i do is monetize, when it doesn't get approved i delete and re-upload, rinse and repeat until it gets monetized (same exact video). The only thing that messes this system up is if its a walkthrough of a game and Youtube content ID flags like a 2 second song from the game(something very random), those videos never get monetized, and other than commentary there is no way to prevent youtube from disabling monetization.

it does seem extremely random.
i've just checked through my videos (all of me recording a game on my iphone) and some have been rejected monetization and some approved...while others are "monitoring for possible review".
very weird indeed
