Who Motivated you to Start YouTube?

Id say X or Davidyt64 as his user name is, was my inspiration to start but ive had alot more inspiration from people i just can't seem to recall thats caused me to carry on over the 2 years and 4 channels later :D
 
At the very start, the appeal of being able to advertise services and a website to the YouTube community, the websites target audience was YouTubers so it went hand in hand. With YTtalkTV it was the community which steered us in the direction of having a channel for the community, the motivation come from everyone here and right now the motivation is mainly knowing the videos help others.
 
Hmm interesting question! :D I actually have a lot of inspirations!

A lot of people on deviantART inspired me to start a youtube.

And even though I'm an art channel, Pewdiepie, Cryaotic, Marble Hornets, Totheark, Smosh all inspired me! ^^
 
Strangely enough, the yogscast got me into everything. They got me into minecraft, and then totalbisquit sealed the deal for me with magicka.

Hmm I dunno pretty much the guys back in the day at machinima respawn (hutch, seananners etc) in 2009-10... I was about 13/14 at the time haha :P How times change...
 
No one person actually motivated me. It was more of a realization that I needed something else from life that made me happy. This jsut turned out to be a great hobby to get into ^.^
 
I knew a friend who upload a couple of videos; had access to a camera at the time and thought I'd try it! Personal vanity I guess! Isn't it why you all started? ;)
