Who is your target audience? Do you cater your videos to suit that audience?


Personally, I just make whatever nonsense I feel like and hope for the best.

According to my analytics, my audience is 67% male, 79% between the ages of 18 & 34. So.. guys around my age.
 
When I do videos my target audience is people like me, that lived their childhoods in the late 90's/early 00's, playing a lot of video games, or that anyway are nostalgic of that time period and consider it the videogames' golden age (like I do).
I suppose it ended up being an unconscious choice, because I like that period and at least try to share my interest on it.
 
Well my target audience mostly are teen and according to my channel analytics bellow most of my subscriber are also teen :).....but seems like girls are not interested in my content....:D

I haven't thought about a target audience for my new channel. I am just going to post what I like and if anyone likes it then bonus. I'm posting videos because I like making them and for motivation for myself first and foremost.
 
My audiance is generally for young woman and teens. Which I guess is true to my analytics I have 86% of females that watch and only 14% male. At the same time I just like telling my stories and giving advice I don't really care who is watching; as long as they are enjoying the video and learning from my mistakes.
