i was watching vine compilations, and his video of him pretending to be on Disney Channel popped up as an ad. This is happening with several of his videos and apparently he’s gained 1k subs in a minute? And still growing. What’s happening?

And since when can people pay to have their personal videos as ads? I’m SO lost.

That has always been the case.
You just use Google Adwords, then your video will play before other people's videos as an ad.
