Who else Approves YouTube comments?

A famous vlogger here in Brazil made a Q & A vid, and someone send this question to him: "What do you think about your haters and trolls?", and he answered on the vid: "To post comments hating me, they are watching my vid, so I'm very thankfull that I have them, cause they are paying my rent"

Yeah but hate effects me different than other people I think this was about approval comments not hate
 
I'd never change my settings to approve comments, because it doesn't encourage engagement from my audience, and that's why I make videos. All comments, good or bad are welcomed because it's still engagement and promotion for my channel. If it was particularly offensive then it might upset me, but I'd be reading it while approving anyway, so I wouldn't be able to escape it. I can always remove comments or block offensive people. Problem solved.
 
One of my online friends found a video of me someone made it's a remix of me saying Hey everyone and me singing in an Alvin and the chipmunks high pitch I can't find the video on youtube any more though my friend emailed it to me from my hotmail
 
I'll let you know when I have one :). If I ever do though, I promised that I won't be deleting any of them, no matter how stupid I think they are.
