also second question, do you guys like templates for thumbnails more? Or thumbnails with a different look to them?

I like the new style better as well. They are more attracting and each thumbnail looks different but still has the same style. Which is a good thing.

I like them both actually. Though I have seen the layout of your current template on many videos across youtube. And I like the fonts better on your newer version. So the second one gives you more creative Freedom

I like the second set more, but just by a small margin.

I think the newer thumbnails look better.

thx everyone! im probably going to go with the second style it looks a bit more appealing to me

the newer one looks better, how ever there's some problem with clarity. it took me a while to understand that the silhouette was Master Chief due to lost of detail. the human attention span today is about 4 seconds, if someone cant read that is Master Chief, you've lost them. if they instantly pick up that is him, cool, but everyone's different.

also, there is too much competition in the E3 cover. the font is fine, but the E3 and PS logo are fighting for the same space in the background. so if the width of the Font is squished over to the left, that'll free up some space to the 2 logos to breath. also, the PS logo gets kinda lost in the background, even with its 1 pixel out line. have you tried the PS1 logo? might help, worth to experiment.

hope this helps.
