Which is Better

What one's graphics would be better for games and all of that stuff? That's the main point for the new computer. Also, I'm sort of on the line of the second one because it also has 600W power supply and the first one has 350W which means there is more room for improvement. :S

Recently built one off of CyberPowerPC, not that expensive actually. Just gotta know what you are doing. Also for OP, don't use Windows 8. Windows 7 is the way to go.

They tend to use sub par parts and are still very marked up. My PC cost around what the ones OP posted and is about 100 times better. Build yourself = always cheaper.

If I were to choose between the two though, I would pick the second one if you aren't gonna play games on MAX SETTING AND PROCESS TONS OF CRAP.

The graphics card is better and the FX6300 can basically handle most jobs. For the most part, an i5 might be too much if you aren't a CPU intense user.

What is your budget?

My Budget is at most $750. :S

Also, I found something else that might work:

CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra Gaming PC (AMD FX-4100 / 2TB HDD / 8GB RAM / Windows 8) - English

3.6 GHz
4 Cores
AMD Radeon HD7750
500W

Bit of a hurried build, but if any of those parts are too overkill then you can change em. SSD is for the OS and a few bits of software.

Does anyone know if.. You can like.. somewhat 'build' a laptop, as in.. Make a current laptop better with better stuff?
I know a PC is a lot easier, but is it at all possible with a laptop.

I have a Gaming Laptop and wish to make it better at some point.

Not really. Depends a lot on the laptop. Most of them have the CPU and GPU soldered on. Some of them have everything soldered on..So really depends. In most cases all you can upgrade is the RAM and the HDD
