The second one is better, but I might recommend building something better for cheaper as Styxie said. ;)
 
Out of them, i would say... The first one. Because of the Intel Core i5, which is second to i7 (which i heard is the best).
 
Build a PC, and don't use Windows 8. XD

Also, the FX6300 and i5 3XXX are rather old and you shouldn't be paying so much for it
 
Personally I think you're getting ripped off with those prices. I payed close to that for a similar set up about 2 years ago. You can definitely find much cheaper computers with similar specs out there. I went to Best Buy for mine.

CPU on the first is way better though, AMD make meh CPUs

Eh windows 8 is actually kind of OK, it performs slightly better. But if you are used to Win7 no real point switching

Recently built one off of CyberPowerPC, not that expensive actually. Just gotta know what you are doing. Also for OP, don't use Windows 8. Windows 7 is the way to go.
