Which is better for us? Freedom! or Defy Media

Currently our channel gets about 1M views a month on youtube. After getting out of the contract with RPM, we joined with a sub-network connected with Freedom which gave us a higher view count on Twitch. Right now, we are at 70/30 but with a 1 year contract will bring us up to a 90/10 split.

Defy Media has shown interest in our content and also offers a 90/10 split.

So far, Freedom has helped out with anything we need and has been pretty helpful. So would it be a good idea to stick with Freedom or should we get contracts from both and compare?

I'm not a partner of Defy Media myself, but I have heard a lot of great things about them.
Freedom's reputation is questionable at best these days, after all the major changes in management from them these last few months,
so removing yourself from them at this point might be the wisest approach. Also, Curse Network has a great rep among partners,
and is considered one of the best networks for gaming YouTube channels.

Side note: Your channel link appears to be broken. It leads to a channel that YouTube says does not exist. Just thought I'd give you a heads-up. ;)

Well Freedom just agreed to give us a 90/10 no lock in contract vs Alloy's 18 month contract so Freedom seems like it the better way to go.

wow your channel so big, I think Freedom! offer you in VIP 95% for cuz you have 10k subs and upto 10k daily views

Go with Defy media, I wouldn't trust Freedom as far as I could throw them. Many payment problems with Freedom coupled with support issues makes a very questionable company.

I'd suggest looking at other Freedom VNs that can offer you 90/10 without a one year contract. There's some really good ones out there, check out this part of the Freedom Forums: freedom.community.tm/forums/powered-by-freedom.126/

I'd say many of the networks can offer more than Defy Media, so it's worth taking a look!

Well Freedom was able to give us a 90/10 split no contract. Though, Alloy said they would give us a 6 month trial contract and they said they would promote us on the smosh games facebook page and even put us as suggested videos under smosh and smosh games.

This is a first time a network gave us a plan on how they will promote us. It sounds like a fantastic deal yet we don't know it's just an empty promise so we join them.

Maybe having no network, at the growth we are at, may be better for us than joining on to begin with. What do you guys think?

I've heard Alloy promise that to a few other content creators, although I haven't checked if they followed through with it. I've heard mixed reviews of Alloy as well..
