Which google service do big/popular channels use google profile or page

i want to start a new youtube channel and creating my own videos.
i have no problem to show my face but i dont want make my name public.
how can i do this? my youtube name could be sound like this Ghost Boy or Shadow Frog ..

must i create a subchannel to do this ? because youtube forces me in my main channel to use a real name.
and it forces me also to create a google+ profile .

but i want to look profesional and not personal. i see big channels dont use their names also and they have pages not profiles.. is that right ?

I am not sure what you mean by a "subchannel" or "main page"?

When you create your channel, you need to ignore the first screen (which will create a G+ profile) and you should click on the option to set up a "business or other name" and follow the instructions:

yes when i do this i get 2 channels and i can switch between them. but the new channel has a different email .. it looks like channelname-45345@pages.plus.google.com ?? how do big channels handle their accounts ? do they have also a subchannel ??
