Which camera?

Depends what kind of vlogging you wanna do, if you are just in the one place you can get something like that, but if you are moving about a lot, definitely a portable one is needed!

That's true. I always imagine vlogging with the person being on the move! But yes, you're totally correct. ;)

I just got the Nikon D3200 I love it!!! 24.1 mega pixels!!!! It beats out all the cannons in that price range based on specs!!

More megapixels don't necessarily mean better quality, just means you'll be able to take larger photos and print em out. I have an old 0.75mp camera and it beats the hell out of the s****y 5mp flip camera I bought :p

Btw just a heads up but stuff like the t3i's are manual focus when your recording, it will auto focus before you start capturing but then it's manual focus after that, if your going to be vlogging then is wouldn't recommend a dslr unless you have some decent shoulder muscles to be able to walk around holding up a camera a dslr at your head level.

If you are just filming vlogs at home then dslr cameras would be fine, because you won't be moving round much so no need to re focus and you can have it on a tripod so no need to hold it.

If you want one to take around I would recommend something like the canon s100, much cheaper then a dslr and much smaller, it's also a very popular camera for vloggers who like to film when there out and about and I also know its quite a well used piece of equipment in the YouTube vlogging scene over in LA
