Totally right. To elaborate, it's generally recommended you create your "button" during your video edit. This can be a literal button that you would then lay a Spotlight annotation over, or it can be a clip of the video you're trying to promote. Use the most exciting or visually striking part(s) of the video to hook the viewer's attention.I use Spotlight. It just puts a border around the link without anything else.
