Is it better to record in side or outside and does it even matter at all?

MY wall color in my room is really starting to affect the quality my videos I think so I'm trying to find a solution so let me know what you think and if you have any suggestions.

Thanks in Advance!!! BYEEEE! :)

Outside leads to a lot of problems if you don't have the right equipment
Like if you dont have a lav mic your audio might get very bad with wind, planes, other people, dogs barking
Or your video might be very dark or way too bright depending on the sun
and worst of all is your times would be restricted because you cant shoot when its too dark or raining ect...

What kind of camera do you use? You may be able to adjust the white balance so that any background wall colour won't affect the video if it's a dslr. Otherwise, yeah inside is almost always better, unless you're doing a vlog at an event etc. where it's unavoidable to be outside. There's some pretty cheap lighting set-ups you can work with as well to improve the quality of your videos: filmmaking channels like Indy Mogul and Film Riot have a lot of great tips for DIY lighting. Also, if your background is bothering you you can hang something up behind you or film in front of a collage etc. to distract :)

Cool - you can adjust a lot with that (white balance, depth of field, framing etc.) :) and I think it takes some external mics if you want to film outside anyway :)

Generally in front of window during the day, if you don't have any proper lighting. This doesn't have to be in your room. If not than against any solid background or generally 'clean' background with some lamps with the shades taken off as lighting.

I think it depends on what you're doing for your video, and if the coloring of the room you're recording in is the issue, find a other room to record in, or even put something up so you can atleast hve a new background.
