where my views go?

Ok so youtube decided to take a sh&t load of views of one of my videos plus around $400 that one video made!.

now i don't pay for views! i know that for certain, i market my work REALLY HARD!. i share with pages i know will find my videos of value.

so why did Youtube take a CRAP load of views off this one video?

Darn. You lost 100k views according to socialblade. Sorry to see that man. Youtube is known to delete bot-views and subs regularly, but this seems kind of random. Got no idea how that happened.

What Marketing tool did you use?

It might be a case of some D@ckhead reporting you for advertising (in there words spamming) your channel

you could have a well intentioned friend trying to 'help' you and giving you some fake views. It hasn't happened to me on YouTube but i remember speaking with a friend once who WAS buying loads of subs and views on his YouTube and Twitter account and we were talking about whether the fake views inspire real people to view etc.

Anyway like a week later I started getting all of these bot followers on twitter. I had to block and delete all of them, thank him for trying to help but that I wanted to grow naturally.

So that popped to my mind straight away.

If these two scenarios have happened, then YouTube should give prior warning or notice before making any decision to delete views so that each user will know what is going on and to clear the doubt.
