Where did you buy your camera?

I bought mine at the 99¢ Store :D Actually, it is built in to my Toshiba. My mobile recordings are with my phone, which black bars everything -.-

Buy any of the EOS Cannon DSLR's from B&H Online. I would recommend the Rebel T5i for videos. They are the absolute best camera for multi-purposes on the market at an affordable price. B&H is extremely reputable, and cost is low.

I bought my 650D from panamoz.com, theyre a UK drop shipper where they will have customers orders imported from Hong Kong direct to your door. I wouldnt recommend getting one imported as there are far more risks going down that route but the savings were very good and it was delivered in 3 days.

I bought our latest cameras at Best Buy because they made the huge mistake of letting me negotiate the price. It was such a good deal, I bought two of them :)

The savings are very good with Grey Imports, but I decided to pay extra when I got my 650D and went with a full UK spec - not an import. Never had any problems with it though![DOUBLEPOST=1374962116,1374961844][/DOUBLEPOST]
So I've decided I am going to buy a canon 600d. I'm not sure whether to buy on eBay or not? I would only buy from someone who has at least 99% positive feedback, but is it risky to spend that kind of money on there? I've looked into Argos and pc world/currys, and they are SO much more expensive than eBay! Should I just spend the extra cash and get it in a shop? Thanks :)

Where abouts are you based?
I ask as Im looking to sell my Canon 650D - which is in brand new mint condition, and still in original box with original packaging and bonus stuff! Its Body Only as I purchased a STM lens, which I'll be keeping for my new unit.
If you're not too far from me you're more then welcome to take a look and test everything etc ;)

Will be listing it on eBay and Gumtree shortly - I have over 1400 feedback on eBay (100% positive), and have no problem giving out my personal details etc for piece of mind. I think I may even have the original invoice for it..... let me know if interested and we can talk ;)

The 650D is a superb camera. My only reason for selling is because Im looking to by a Canon 70D as soon as its released next month.

I buy my cameras at Best Buy. I know they match their own online price but I don't know about other websites.

If you're gonna buy a Canon, go to an actual shop with real people.

Many many retail shops will charge far more than you would pay from a reputable retailer online, such as Amazon, or a good seller on Ebay, or B&H, any of those three should work good, and you will get a far better deal.

Only word of caution on Amazon is this:

Amazon sometimes has multiple sellers of the same product, for example maybe ABC-Photo-and-Video sells a Canon 650D, and so does official Amazon, as well as official Canon, read the reviews on the products and look for the seller name on the page to be safe and be sure you are buying from the official brand or directly from amazon.

I buy all my Video equipment from Amazon and have never had an issue.
