Where can I learn the basics of photoshop?

Of course the obvious one would be youtube, but the best way to learn is simply having an experiment and tweek around yourself! Then bit by bit im sure you will understand how to use photoshop completely
 
I learnt the basics, by just watching tutorials on the web. Watching people making cool fonts and backgrounds.
Then I would test it out to see how it works..
From there I just experimented.
