Hey everyone!! Whens the best time to start making merchandise? Such as shirts, jackets, phone cases, etc. Does it matter? Or should people wait until they have a large fan base?

Honestly you should wait until you have a big and really supportive fanbase otherwise you'll come across as a money-hungry person and people really, really don't like that.Hey everyone!! Well hey, if people are asking then your to that point!!Yeah I would definitely wait until you have a big and supportive fan base. I've been asked to make merch but I still don't think I'm at that point yet xD
lmao xDDD yeah but not ENOUGH people to consider myself to be at that point lmao xDWell hey, if people are asking then your to that point!!![]()
I made shirts that have made me money way faster than videos and they have nothing to do with my channel really besides having my breeds of dogs on them. This is my first successful shirt and I paid $0 to advertise it, I just posted to a couple of Facebook forums I belong to. It would help a lot if you have a huge following, but you don't HAVE to have one. I have less than 500 subs and I'm sure not a single sub bought a shirt. You just have to be creative with the designs & sayings and most importantly the marketing of your merch. The below shirt is an example of word play... a GSP is a German Shorthaired Pointer which are hunting dogs that point at birds.... So I came up with that saying and boom, 112 sales!Hey everyone!!
