When you know you won’t make it

I was Happy until I started getting other smaller YouTubers going to my channel being mean and telling me I should give up doing YouTube because I won’t make it and saying my views are terrible.

I think these other smaller channels are just jealous of the number of subs you have, which is quite a lot for the time you've been uploading videos.

If you enjoy what you do, and people find your videos entertaining (I find them fun to watch) then don't stop because of haters. :)

I’m not going stop, I just don’t understand why people are so mean.

I honestly thought this was going to be about not making it to the bathroom in time. I really wanted to hear some good advice on what to do in that situation... BECAUSE IT'S HAPPENING TO ME RIGHT NOW OH MY GOD NO

the people who are trying to bring you down are probably a bit jealous; actually not probably, they are. I would venture to guess that a lot of the people who are being rude and mean don't have even close to the amount of subs or views you have (not that that matters) but it shows how salty they are.

you just have to develop thicker skin (tough love here). I have a few more years on you (maybe more than a few, lol) and you will probably run into some real nasty people outside of Youtube as well if not already such as a work place etc. so think of it as a learning experience, use it as motivation and ignore them as much as you can.

Yeah I’m 22 and when I was in high school and middle school I was bullied really bad so I learned at very young how people can be cruel

Same here, but I honestly just enjoy making videos too much. Like it's difficult to get a new sub box in the mail or watch an awesome (or awful) movie in theaters, and not do a review video about it, LOL

I don't know. It's tough to imagine life without making Youtube videos. It's just a fun hobby and there are literally thousands of people doing it.[DOUBLEPOST=1521780221,1521779681][/DOUBLEPOST]

Yeah.... sadly nothing prepares with how much of an ******* other people can be until you go to middle school....

Courtney, from what I can see, you're getting subscribers daily, and occasionally you get a two digit number. :-) Just keep up the good work. Yeah, I agree with everyone who's said that those negative comments are just jealous of your rising stardom. Just keep at it, if for no other reason, because you're having fun making them (and it shows). Success will come (I'd say it already did - it just takes a bit more time for it to actually show).
