When to start posting some original content?

Hey, as you probably know, or don't.. I play piano covers on youtube.
And I want to start sharing some originals, but for now, I only have like 30 subs en 2k views..
So it's way to soon I think to start sharing originals.
Because you need a solid fan base if you want some public for your own songs.
But when is it the rigth time to start posting them??
Let me know what you did, or what you think! :)
 
I think post one or two right now and like every 100 subs release another one or two. Dont out everything out but make sure for every 2 originals do like 10 covers so that there's a good amount more covers then originals
 
How good do you think your originals are? I mean, I didn't start posting covers until I had already built about a 400 person strong following playing only originals. It was my subscribers themselves who convinced me to do originals. You may not wind up in the search engines too much if you're doing originals, but people will sub to it if it makes em happy :)
 
Grrrr... I posted this right upon waking up so I got it confused, I mean it was my subs who convinced me to post "covers" lol

Not always, some people are depressed themselves and get annoyed by fun happy people and like to find other depressed people to watch to feel not alone. But yeah, he should still have confidence and not dog himself, talking poorly of your abilities only solidifies that it can't change in your mind.
 
Any time i would say. Sometime the originals go viral.
However if you are really looking for a number you can greate an original every 50 or 100 subs if you like.
It's your choice really, if you can't wait to post ur original song, then post it wherever you want to comfort yourself.
