When to Monetize?

I've had my channel for about 8 months now. I haven't monetized a single video. What numbers should I be getting per video so that monetization is worth it? I haven't turned it on my videos because I don't want to annoy new viewers.

Also, is there any other benefits for monetization, like being more likely to be a suggested video?

Having a look at your channel I doubt now is a good time to monetise since you're only getting about 50 views a video

I monetized my videos. I have 830 views on one video and lower for the rest. But Ive been trying to promote them to get more views

All the money will add up from the time the OP monetizes.

YouTube has changed the rules so that one only gets credited from the day one actually sets up monetization. This means a creator could have a video go viral; but if that video isn't monetized when it does, all of that money which would have been earned will be lost.

maybe you should think about how many views do you get per video, not how long did you have the channel. that's my opinion.

I think you should monetize the videos. I don't think it makes a big impact. If someone doesn't have ad-block on, no matter if you monetize or not that person will still see ads.
YouTube - "Ads may appear next to your uploaded videos even if you haven’t monetized the videos yourself."
So what's really the point in turning it off?

Well those ads are non intrusive where as ads in videos either start with an (possibly unskippable) ad before the video or halfway though so there's that.

Well yeah because like I said if you click on a video and you have a 30 second unskippable ad it's less likely you will stick to watch the video especially if you clicked on the video on a whim and this is coming from personal experience I've done it before

I totally disagree. On my phone I don't have ad-block (don't really need it). However when I see YouTube videos I don't suddenly close them because it has an ad. If I have already searched for something and I see a thumbnail that grabs my eyes (or the title), I watch the video with or without ads. Like really 4-5 seconds that you can then skip or 30 seconds is too much?
