When should I start looking into a network?

Hello everyone! I know it's still very early for me to be asking this question, but I'd rather get a general idea now so I have a goal to work towards and I don't walk into it blindly in the future. When would be a good time to start looking into a network and when I do what should I look out for?
 
Never.
There's virtually no reason to ever join one nowadays (although they'll try to tell you otherwise).
 
U will grow and tons of networks will hit u up...dont listen to any of them...the offers sound good sometimes...but no...no good

I hear that they take ur money...plus the contract dude...but really im not extremely sure...I just know that everyone is against networks
 
Yeah I've heard that as well. I figured I ask the question just to gain more insight and this definitely helps.

I can't argue with that.


They'll promise you the world to get you to sign then even though most of it is blatant lies and will coincidentally be missing from the actual contract.
The vast majority of what they offer could be had for free (or very little).

Basically, they take 10-40% of your income without giving you anything of equal value in return.

Years ago, before YouTube allowed everyone to monetize or even build up their channel page, networks were semi-needed... but so much has changed since then that makes them all but irrelevant.

That's a perfect explanation lol gives me the input I need. I figured if someone wants to offer you candy and puppies they'd want your soul in return haha
