When did you officially create & publicize your YouTube Schedule?

Did your followers vocalize displeasure? Unsubscribe? What was the downfall of not sticking to your schedule?
I don't really have a huge enough following for it to be noticeable, but when I had a schedule views tended to be up. It doesn't have to be a huge problem not sticking to a schedule but people do like knowing when do come back for more. If they come back when there should be more and don't see it they might get upset.

I've never announced a schedule officially, but since last fall I have released a weekly video on Thursday nights. I won't make an official schedule because I my own boss (me and my kids) and I don't want the pressure of a deadline.

I don't publicize my schedules, but my viewers definitely know what they are because I have stuck to them non-stop for the last 6+ months. I upload 2 videos per week (Monday and Thursday) to my drumming channel, and one video per week (different day of the week for each other channel) to my other channels.

This may not sound like a lot of uploads per channel per week but my videos are tutorial style videos so they're meaningful and I know that I can stick to this schedule for the next 10+ years with regards to time needed and content ideas.

I don't have a schedule. I just try to upload once a week. I started a drawing series every friday to run for four weeks. Other than that, I don't want to keep a schedule because being forced to make video every week will not make it fun for me. D:
