I Love YTtalk
Some people like Pewdiepie upload multiple times a day. And it's insane that he can sustain that, but it works for him. It keeps his viewers happy and he always has fresh content for new people to watch. Whereas other people like danisnotonfire upload once or twice a month. But people love him so much that each of his videos gets a ton of views and attention, because he doesn't upload that frequently. Which do you think would be more successful?

Uploading a lot can be a bad thing because your filling people subscription feeds and giving your viewers to much content to watch in so little time.

I think one thing that happens with making more videos quickly is that people can binge-watch all your videos at the end of the week, which means longer session-times, thus more promotions. (Rise of the gaming channels)
More videos also means that there are more links out there for people to discover you, which is nice.

But all these have to be accompanied with quality. Nobody would watch a channel if they made a bunch of crappy videos.
If you can't maintain quality when you upload often, then just keep it to the pace where you can churn out quality videos.

Quality over quantity my friend. But if you're able to keep quality even when going for quantity, that's the best!

Don't forget all the time that Pewd has too. He doesn't have to work a regular 9-5 job so he has all day to make videos. I can tell you as someone who has a 9-5 and uploads everyday, it isn't easy to keep that trend. He also has a very fanboyish viewer base so he knows that they will gobble up his content if he dips in quality every so often. But he does keep his quality up so that doesn't matter so much.

Im really undecided what is best but I would assume a balance and really what works for you and your channel, it depends on so many factors like the kind of videos you make, how long they take to make, what the audience tends to expect in the niche as well as so many others.

I plan to upload twice a day and even then I plan to spread those two's upload times apart by having one at 9 am CST (so it arrives at UK subscription pages at 3 pm, just before school gets out there) and 3 pm CST so it arrives at US subscription pages on the East Coast and Midwest (CST) just before school gets out there. But that's me and my show. It will be a game show so its quality can be easily maintained. Rigid format and assembly line production where I can produce 14 episodes in about 90 minutes. For you (Rachael), I would stress that you don't produce more episodes than you can maintain their quality. You do need to upload at least once a week though. Longer and people begin to forget about you. Your poll is also too limited and I would disagree that weekly is considered a "lot". I would call it the minimum. If you can redo the poll, I would suggest the following choices.

Monthly
Every other week
Every week
Twice weekly
Thrice weekly
Daily
Twice Daily
PewDiePie

I like people who upload weekly. Twice a week can also be fun but videos like vlogmas or video every day [month] it becomes a bit annoying for some reason lol

Unless it's original and creative content like WheezyWaiter, AmandasChronicles and MacDoesIt.

I upload twice a week not daily because I know people aren't hooked as much so due to Youtube's subscriber burn system if you upload a lot then your subs watch less often if still young and they won't be notified of you as often.
