Whats your favourite part about making youtube Videos?

For me i would say everything is Top 1 because i make my videos for my friends ( Subscribers )
I love when i get feedback about it, even if it's negative because i can learn from my mistakes, what i have did wrong and such so i can get better at it :)

But if i have to Top 10 my choice, i would say...

  • Read/Reply Comments
  • Recording, Filming and Such
  • Editing and Rendering
  • Collecting Informations
  • Adding Annotiations
  • Tagging/Discription
  • Uploading ( Sometime i get... Time to Upload : 1778 hours ! ) Wait What!? )
  • Requested Let's Plays
  • Request More Video from my Friends
I have list them has top 10 but for real it's all top 1 :)

My favourite part is being able to play the games I enjoy, or have always wanted to play. Especially for the latter, I can approach them from a perspective of a new player, which is what I am in the latter perspective, and can then relate to a bunch of people. I have had a few people telling me how they enjoyed their first time on any particular game, and being able to share in that aspect is something I enjoy, communicating with the audience
 
I probably enjoy after the video is uploaded and your done. Then you just sit back and watch the views go up pretty fast the first few days. Sharing it is pretty fun to, lots of forum posts to respond to.
 
I actually enjoy the recording stage once the laborious lesson-writing stage is out of the way. I've usually spent so much time preparing the lesson, that I know exactly what I'm going to say without a script, so I'm actually doing my job as a teacher and explaining things which I enjoy a lot.

I also like the SEO / marketing side of things too, monitoring my stats and of course getting positive feedback from my viewers.

Yeah, captions is the worst stage for me too. I think the most frustrating about it is that it is usually the very last stage in the process, so I'm close to the end, but so so far, because they take an eternity to do :(
 
Telling the others in the house to GTFO until I'm done, and that it's my time to shine. Other than that, I like planning and filming. Basically, everything except any form of editing, and when the uploading takes forever and a half. >_>
 
I love editing. It's so fun to be able to make your own story. I love learning special effect too to show in my videos.
 
For me it is more about accomplishing something. I am a lot older, and learning to navigate and edit makes me happy. I wish that if I had life to do over again, I would have been smart enough to have known it would have been something I could try and learn and make a living doing. Unfortunately the internet came when I was still taking typewriting classes in school and learning how to write a check in record keeping, and I am 38, not 60! Our education system sux :)
