What's your Average Estimated Minutes watched per day?

Hi Friends,

My Average Estimated Minutes / Hours watched per day is 1 Day 12 hours to 1 day 20 hours (2693 minutes). Weekends being the best. Last 30 days 50940 minutes i.e. 35 days 9 hours.

What is yours?
Does it make any difference in the way Youtube places your video based on this criteria? What's your take?
 
The number relates to retention, video length, and views. Retention and views are both known to be used in ranking.

Mine is
162 days 53 minutes 20 seconds

Average watched per day over the last 30 days.

Or in the last 30 days total, 13.3 years.

Total my channel has nearly 60 years watched... that is a scary thought.
 
60 years? Bloody hell, I hate to think what kind of estimated time watched a channel like Smosh has...
Oh, mine are 17hh 42m for 992 views over the last 30 days. I need to start uploading again..

Nah, no invoice... that is paid out when YouTube takes a 45% cut on top of all YouTube $$$. :eek:

The interesting thing about videos in search is they have lower retention. This is because lots more 'random people' watching, vs an upload that is only seen by subscribers which a higher % will stick around to the end, raising retention, thereby raising total view time.

Also the "best practices" of video length is like 5-7 minutes... which I thoroughly ignore, lol. Most of my content pushes 20 minutes. Lately (lsat few days) I've been trying to cut it at 10 min to see how it works.

That said... thousands of years. easily.

Video length and retentiveness is a weird thing, Some of my 8m ish videos have terrible audience retention whilst other I do that are a lot longer have high audience retention (depends on the ones)
Also, pretty weird feeling knowing days, if not more, have been spent watching something you've made...Quite a nice feeling too x)
